The filmmaker draws himself into the arms of the masculine actors he had a crush on as a child, including the Mexican national hero Pedro Infante. The heroes of the western movies of his childhood in California are interwoven with the memories of his father, who grew up in Mexico. The animations are laid over footage of the old family home in Mexico which now stands alone, slowly being consumed by the surrounding countryside.… >>>
