Laurent Garnier is a vanguard of the European house and techno scene. He discovered his love of music at an early age and, through luck and talent, became a highly sought-after DJ in the late 80s. His role models are the US-american house and techno pioneers from New York, Detroit and Chicago. That sound, which was mainly developed and pushed by black musicians, has now arrived in the mainstream.
