Filmmakers Stefan Kolbe and Chris Wright wonder: How do you face a murderer? Can you connect with someone like that? Stefan S. murdered a former colleague, and has been in prison for the last fifteen years. A puppet and two puppeteers assume the role of the perpetrator for the camera. But in giving the interviews with him their voice, and while making the film, the puppeteers as well as the filmmakers also scrutinize their own preconceptions and their position in the project.
