Damascus Dreams
How to remember a homeland with which one is so deeply connected and yet from which one has moved so far away? Installation artist Émilie Serri was born in Canada. She visited Syria, her father’s native country, only a few times before the outbreak of the civil war. To revive the fading connection to her homeland and her father, she takes her father on a journey of her dreams.
