Martin lives in Argentina and is interested in the German branches in his family tree. He located Werner, a distant relative living in Hamburg. Werner even invites him to visit. But due to an adverse circumstance, Werner cannot receive him personally. So, Martin has to reside in his host’s house alone. He begins to venture around the for him foreign area of Blankenese. And he reveals some curiosities regarding the life of his absent host. What started as a travel diary thus turns into a detective story dedicated to Werner's past.
