Medusa

In 1913, the Solvay company set up a baking soda factory in Rosignano (IT). For over 100 years, the production processes have deeply marked, transformed, and affected the bodies and spirit of its inhabitants, covering the place with a strange color, intensely and artificially white. The film consists of three interwoven stories, written with the inhabitants of the village that guide us along the path of this intriguing color: a group of teenagers reenact the golden age, the tale of a medium and a fossilised body, and lastly the story of a lover and her memory.
