The Iranian filmmaker Mehran Tamadon lives in exile and has been banned from entering his home country for more than ten years now. If he returns, the dissident artist faces imprisonment and brutal interrogation. In order to confront his fear of the regime, Tamadon devises a role-playing game: he asks Iranian people in exile, who themselves have had to endure interrogation and imprisonment, to interrogate him in turn.
