Almost 200 years have passed since the first photograph was taken in 1826 – and since then the world of images has changed rapidly. Today, around 300 million photos are taken – every single day. Axel Danielson's and Maximilien Van Aertryck's film goes on a search for traces through the realm of images from the beginnings to our present, gathers historical material, TV recordings, amateur videos, web clips and Youtube videos and asks to what extent this constant stream of images and impressions shapes, directs and changes our perception.
