AT THE MARGIN tells the story of the inhabitants of the Greek island of Lesbos during the "refugee crisis" in 2015. The protagonists report on their experiences and the traumas of that time. In addition to the refugees, volunteers from the global north and countless journalists came to the island. Everyone tried to find and defend their place there. The individual stories of the documentation are woven into a network of relationship structures and reports of personal experiences. They give an insight into the work of the European border system.
