"We looked into the sun" is a quote from an interview with a witness of October 22, 1943, who survived the night of one of Kassel's most destructive bombings. The film of the same name is a reflection on the cultural legacies of fascism and militarism in the present. It was originally planned as a performance project in early 2020 in cooperation with Vikonauten e.V. at the Viktoria Bunker Kassel.
