Cello Tales
The Cello is said to be the musical instrument that is in shape, size and sound most similar to a human being. This film is a declaration of love to this special instrument, to the music that is play on it, to the great variety of people who are involved with it. Sometimes these can even be evil people. From the building of the cello to the concert hall, this film recounts wondrous, but also criminal tales. We travel around the world alongside solo cellists and orchestra musicians, and watch various artisans in their patient and artistic process of creation.
