a play for freedom

a play for freedom

Mitra, Sina, Shirin and Hamed are four young men and women in Iran who want to instill critical consciousness in children at an early age through a theater project. The play is a Persian legend about King Ejdeha, which treats the possibility of protest. Alas, the passionate protagonists must first overcome obstacles of their own, as they need the approval of the official state institute for children's theater in order to be able to go on tour with their mobile theater bus. And that will require a few more compromises.
