Innere Blutungen
A hotelkeeper keeps his dead bride on oxygen for weeks in order to prepare her resurrection. An inpatient farmer gets run over while crossing the street. In the movie theater, "Winnetou" is playing. INNERE BLUTUNGEN doesn't investigate a medical phenomenon, but is instead a multi-layered documentary film, which fixes its gaze on Austrian society of the 1960ies and 70ies. While the visual plane illustrates the everyday lives of the rural population, the audio plane provides a counterpoint to the shown, with its soundtrack of stories at times fanciful, at times gruesome.
