Since 2010 the section Profis Plaudern Praxis has been presented in collaboration with the Hessen Film- and Media Academy (hFMA). The section is considered as a platform of further education for people involved in media and filmmaking, who share their expertise in lectures and workshops. Thus, new ways of dealing with the latest developments in the media business can be found and explored.
This year, Profis Plaudern Praxis deals with the following questions: How do I find the audience for my film? Which is the right festival to present my film? Which film awards are important? How can I prepare myself optimally for the festival visit? What possibilities of funding do I have? These and other questions can be discussed with the contributors.
In addition, there is the possibility of individual corrections and discussions with the contributors. Therefor, we ask for registration in advance until November 11: Mechthild Alpers, alpers@kasselerdokfest.de. The presentations and individual talks are preferably for students of the network of the Hessen Film- and Media Academy (hFMA) and the participants of the 6th Hessian University Film Day. But they are also open to others, who are interested. The participation is free.
