Line 41
The second largest Ghetto on Polish ground was located in the middle of Lódz. Everyday the street car line 41 transported German and Polish citizens from the “free” part of the city straight through the misery of the Ghetto. For years Natan Grossmann avoided to research his brothers fate, who disappeared in 1942. Now after 70 years, he begins a late search for him and his murdered parents. His research intersects with the son of the former Nazi mayor of the city, who sheds light on a family secret and breaks the long silence of his family.
