MORE JESUS
MORE JESUS tells the story of the charismatic Ghanaian preacher Edmund Sackey-Brown and his plan to build a megachurch for 5.000 worshipers in the Ruhrgebiet, Germany's rustbelt megalopolis, a mission that seems as inappropriate as it is hopeless. Sackey-Brown is part of "Mission Reversed": congregations from emerging nations, in which Christianity is experiencing rapid growth, who send missionaries to Europe to rechristianize the population here. The film gives insight into the worldview of a religious visionary while raising questions on the role of faith and culture here in Germany.
