The young filmmaker Sharon Ryba-Kahn, granddaughter of Shoah survivors, searches for answers with her very personal film. She searches for traces of the Holocaust on the outside as well as the inside, in her own soul as well as in the soul of her father, for reasons for the silence of the second generation of survivors and for the inexperience of her non-Jewish, German friends.
