Uta Pilling is 70 years old and a street musician in Leipzig. With her accordion and her self-written songs, she touches the people passing by in a special way. Almost completely blind, marked by blows of fate and living at the minimum subsistence level, she lives an unadjusted and happy life with her bisexual friend, the musician and cabaret artist Jens, and a large family.
