On one side of the expressway lies paradise. On the other the metropolis of Bucharest. Whenever you exit the house of the Enache family, you find yourself in virtually untouched nature. For 20 years, the family of eleven has lived in a shack, invisible to civilization, in the middle of the reeds of the Bucharest Delta. But their paradise is acutely threatened by the plans of the city administration to turn the delta into an official nature reserve. Eventually, the family has to leave their home and return to the other side of the expressway to a small apartment in town.
