A Symphony of Noise – Matthew Herberts Revolution

“If it makes a noise, it’s alive, somehow.” – Musician and composer Matthew Herbert set out to explore the sounds of the world. His pieces can have subjects as diverse as the life of a pig from birth to slaughterhouse to 3,500 people eating an apple. Director Enrique Sánchez Lansch has filmed Herbert over the course of 10 years while developing and producing works ranging from electronic dance music to the completion of Mahler’s last symphony and recordings with his “Brexit Big Band”. A SYMPHONY OF NOISE is an enigmatic journey into the soundscapes of this exceptional artist. (Carolin Ernst)… >>>
