Gang wars, violence, prostitution: The notorious district of Kara-Kara in the Nigerien city of Zinder is the end of the line for many young people. They earn money by smuggling petrol, teenagers are forced into prostitution. Weight training is essential for survival in the daily struggle. But some young men try to break out of the spiral of violence. They start families and want to set up a security company to keep the “bad guys” out in the future.
