BORGA tells the story of Kojo, who grows up in poor conditions near an electronic waste dump in Ghana’s capital Accra. One day Kojo makes the acquaintance of a Borga from Germany. The encounter makes a lasting impression on the boy and changes his life forever. When, 10 years later, the opportunity arises for Kojo to go to Germany himself, he leaves his family behind in order to reach his longed-for destination.
