Taming the Garden

Sometimes life writes better stories than any script writer. TAMING THE GARDEN has many stories to tell, especially the one about the powerful former prime minister of Georgia who buys old, huge trees along the Georgian coast to transplant them into his private garden. And the film makes due with few words for its stories. Instead, the impressive images do the talking: Chainsaws eating through branches, excavators digging up soil the height of several houses, a tree being driven down the road and then shipped across the sea.
