Once they came to Germany as "boat people", today they live in between two worlds: The Vietnamese-born couple Bay and Tam work as cleaners in Munich, but at home they appear to be living more in Vietnam than in Germany – or rather in a virtual in-between space – in karaoke chat rooms and via Skype. At some point, however, when their house in Vietnam is destroyed and Bay's sister dies, they have to decide where they want to live: In the old homeland, that they have long left behind, or in the new one, where they never really arrived.… >>>
