Filmed in the late 1970s and written down as diary sketches in 1992, the film recounts two decades from the life of Lydia and Wolfgang B. Between life crisis and joie de vivre, full of passion and disciplined work, driven by convictions and doubts and the fear of a fatal second tumor, their cine film footage and Wolfgang’s diary give fragmentary reports of the beauty and adversity inside a symbiotic marriage and at the same time of an entire life.
