Child prodigy, scandalous author, national traitor, communist, feminist, fashion lover, nest-destroyer. The film tells the story of the great Austrian writer and half-Jew Elfriede Jelinek, who describes herself "almost as a social sculptress", from her childhood to the Nobel Prize for Literature - which was followed by tirades of hatred and her retreat into writing - with her own voice and her texts, interpreted by Sophie Rois and Sandra Hüller, among others, in exciting archive and original footage. A montage sound work that captivatingly translates Jelinek and her poetry into film.
