The Graduate
School for Moving Image: Analog Realities, Digital Materialities (GBB) at the Kunsthochschule Kassel was awarded
the Honorary Award at the 39th Kassel Dokfest for particularly innovative
achievements; today we present it in the University Portrayal. The GBB was established in 2020 as a pilot project to
further develop the third phase (i.e. postgraduate, after an MA, Magister or
equivalent artistic degree) at the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

themselves in various scenarios, be it the return to a once familiar place that
suddenly appears gray and forbidding, be it dynamics and attributions in the
encounter between dog owners, or the search for traces of National Socialism in
Kassel's history and architecture.
