CINEMOON illuminates the cinema cave. Media-reflexive as “The Flicker” (Tony Conrads), the perceptual dispositive opens up and we see cinematographic modernity itself. Where the distinction between perception and deception blurs, it becomes tangible. We see what deceives us, how perceptual hallucinations are created from light.
CINEMOON extends the radically reduced pre-semantic iteration light-dark-light-dark by a circular rotation – loops forward, so to speak. And: music. 

Instructions for the audience: As soon as the moon peeks out from behind the clouds, please carefully place a hand of your choice on the shoulder of your companion.
