There are more than 900 Thai women living in Thy, a region in Northern Denmark, 25 years ago there was none. HEARTBOUND portrays four of the women who are trying to settle down here through marriage. The film, shot over 10 years, is a narrative of various people in search of happiness. But what is happiness? What is the good life? And what will remain in the end?
