DokfestForum takes place in cooperation with the Fridericianum and directs its focus on the intersection of film, documentary, and visual art. In 2021, over three consecutive evenings, a selection of videos was presented. These range from the factual documentation of Andrea Büttner, to the gory cinematic staging of Pauline Curnier Jardin, to Rirkrit Tiravanija’s portrait of the artist Karl Holmqvist. The screenings were followed by a talk, where the artists discussed the ideas and strategies behind their respective works.
