256 documentary feature and short films will be presented during the 33rd Kassel Dokfest. Many other festival sections accompany the extensive film program: The media art exhibition Monitoring presents 16 experimental and artistic works , in the DokfestLounge VJ art and audiovisual performances are presented at the festival evenings, the workshop symposium interfiction discusses the topic TIMEMACHINES as well as the special exhibition AREA OF INTEREST at the Interim in the KulturBahnhof and an encounter with documenta 14. With a program made out of 3.133 submitted works from 80 countries, the organizers of the Kassel Dokfest expect 15,000 visitors in all program sections.
