In the Dominican convent Maria Steinach in Southern Tyrol, only two nuns remain: Sister Angelika and Sister Benvenuta. When both of these farmer’s daughters joined the convent over 50 years ago, 18 women lived there. Today most of their cubicles are empty. "Now we fulfill all duties ourselves!" With this credo both of them buzz through the halls and obtain the whole program of the convent. They are by no means merely spiritual convent women but likeable and at the same time somewhat tenacious heroines, who fulfill their vision of convent life with plenty of humor and great pragmatism.
