5 Broken Cameras
Emad comes from the Palestinian village Bil’in, which protested peacefully as the Israeli Army occupied land that belonged to the town in order to make space for Israeli settlers. Over the years, Emad has documented the escalating conflict, which ends up costing human lives and leading to the building of a wall between Bil’in and the new Israeli settlement. The film tells the story of the unarmed resistance of the villagers, who rise up against the annexation wall.
