MORE THAN HONEY whisks us away into the fascinating universe of bees. The celebrated Swiss director and grandson of a beekeeping family, Markus Imhoof ("The Journey", "The Boat is Full"), follows their fate from his own family's hives all the way to the industrialized honey farms of California, killer bees and the "human" bees of China. With the help of his spectacular images, Imhoof gives us a glimpse into a world that we will not soon forget and dares to peer further in to the dizzying abyss that a world without bees would represent for man.
