Forget Me Not

VERGISS MEIN NICHT takes us on a very personal journey. The filmmaker's mother is suffering from very serious dementia and, in order to lessen his father's burden, he moves back in with his parents for a few weeks. While his father recovers a bit in Switzerland, the son tries his best to care for his mother and accompanies her with his camera. He manages to share wonderfully light moments with his confused mother. She is losing her memory and her ability to speak, but yet in spite of it all he is often met with an unexpected pun or something like a poetry of wisdom.
