Die guten Feinde – Mein Vater, die rote Kapelle und ich
From the perspective of the son, the film tells the story of writer Günther Weisenborn, who together with other young artists and intellectuals bravely fought the Nazi regime. Persecuted by the Gestapo with special hatred and called "Red Chapel" in defamatory terms, many detainees were arrested and executed in Plötzensee in 1942. Günther Weisenborn survived and in the post-war climate vainly tried to rehabilitate the group and call to account the former Nazi judge Manfred Roeder. A strong piece of time and family history.
